What is DreamPay?

DreamPay is a payment platform that lets Brazilian consumers shop at foreign partner establishments, paying in BRL with their domestic credit card — no IOF and with installment options.

How do I pay with DreamPay?

When making a purchase at a DreamPay partner establishment, you will be redirected to the DreamPay payment page. Enter your domestic credit card details, choose your number of installments, and confirm. That's it.

Why is there no IOF?

The 6.38% IOF applies to international credit card transactions. DreamPay processes the payment as a domestic BRL transaction within Brazil, legally eliminating this tax. This model operates under authorization from the Central Bank of Brazil.

Which credit cards can I use?

Accepts Visa, Mastercard, Elo, Hipercard, and American Express credit cards issued by Brazilian banks. Installments depend on the available limit on your card.

Is it safe to provide my card details?

Yes. DreamPay is PCI DSS certified, the highest level of security for payment processing. Card data is encrypted with TLS/SSL and never stored after the transaction.

What if I need a refund?

Refunds are processed by the establishment where you made the purchase, according to each store's return policy. The amount is reversed to the credit card used.

How does it appear on my credit card statement?

The purchase appears on your statement as a BRL transaction, processed as a domestic purchase. You will see the establishment name and the total amount in reais.
